Welcome
Meghan Maugeri’s work has been seen across the country including Mothers of the Bride (Pear Theatre, full production) and Polar Bear Society (American Stage, New Voices Festival; Athena Project Plays-in-Progress Series.) Other produced plays include her short comedies Power(less) Pete, The Bad Good Planet, and Glinda the Middle-Aged Witch. Her screenplay Lady Shakespeare was a quarterfinalist for the 2023 Nicholl Fellowship. Her film Headwind won Best Narrative Short at The World Indie Film Festival. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild as well as an alum of PlayGround Writers Company and Pear Playwrights Guild. She completed The Berkeley Rep School of Theatre’s summer playwriting program and graduated from Boston College with a degree in literature. Originally from Connecticut, she previously worked as a middle school teacher. Find her on New Play Exchange here.
